I draw inspiration from a variety of artistic mediums including music, writing, painting and drawing.
I am a farm boy, an academic, mechatronic engineer, sailor, motorcyclist and tree planter. Photography is a beautiful hybrid between art and science for me - the ability to freeze time and capture the moment. I enjoy the creative side of things, taking an idea and running with it to conclusion. My background forces me to ensure that the resultant image is correct.
I grew up on the in the hills of Scotland closely liked to the land and people. I see things from a physical practical side.
